Remo Stars Boss Presents GAC SUV to Adebayo as Player of the Season
Remo Stars Football Club President, Kunle Soname, has rewarded midfielder Olamilekan Adebayo with a brand new GAC SUV after naming him the club’s 2024–2025 Player of the Season. The club’s gala celebration also saw Soname hand out ₦25 million to the first team, ₦10 million to the ladies’ side, ₦5 million to youth stars and ₦2 million to the supporters’ club.
Adebayo, who stood out last season with seven goals and one assist—including vital strikes against Niger Tornadoes and in a spirited comeback versus Abia Warriors received his SUV in recognition of these decisive contributions. Highlighting his importance, Soname described the gift as a token for Adebayo’s pivotal role in securing Remo Stars’ maiden NPFL crown.
With the club riding high from their first league triumph, the president’s generosity underscores both the value of loyalty and the ambition fueling Remo Stars' next chapter as they prepare to compete in the CAF Champions League.

We find ourselves inspired by the way leadership at Remo Stars has celebrated collective and individual excellence. Adebayo’s SUV gift is not merely a lavish gesture it is a statement of respect and recognition. We believe such gestures motivate the wider squad, reinforcing that dedication and impact are rewarded.
We see in Soname's actions a blueprint for holistic club development. By providing financial backing not just to the men’s first team, but also to the women’s side, youth athletes and supporters, he has cultivated a shared sense of pride. This inclusive approach builds unity and strengthens the club’s foundation.
We are reminded that true success in football demands investment beyond player transfers.
