The Alfa Romeo MiTo is really a front-wheel drive, three-door supermini designed by Centro Stile Alfa Romeo.

The Quadrifoglio Verde (see Alfa Romeo in motorsport article for the real history of the emblem) version of Mito was presented at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. The Quadrifoglio Verde (green four-leaf clover) has traditionally been the highest distinct Alfa Romeo models. The new multi-air technology allows the fuel consumption of 6 liters per 100 kilometers (47 mpg-imp; 39 mpg-US) in EU combined driving and CO2 emissions of 139 g/km.  The QV version has the new 1.4-litre 170 PS (125 kW; 168 hp) Multiair engine and newly engineered suspension, steering, and new six-speed C635 gearbox manufactured by Fiat Powertrain Technologies (FPT). Highlights are the 1.4 engine, which includes either 78bhp or 140bhp – the latter being turbocharged and delivering powerful performance. The 95bhp 1.3-liter Multijet diesel emits just 89g/km of CO2. The MiTo Veloce works on the 170-hp version of the 1.4 MultiAir engine with a six-speed dual-clutch TCT transmission distributed to the Alfa 4C sports car. The 875cc twin-cylinder TwinAir engine is responsive, but the loud engine noise doesn't quite fit the MiTo, and the narrow powerband means you've to work hard to make good progress. There's a wide variety of Alfa Romeo MiTo engines are available for Alfa Romeo Mito.At launch, there have been also 1.3 and 1.6 Multijet kinds of diesel, 1.4 petrol and 1.4 petrol with a turbocharger. The changes triggered the elimination of the 1.6 diesel and the addition of Fiat's TwinAir two-cylinder turbo petrol and the newer 1.4 MultiAir turbo petrol, while all engines were obtainable in many different tuning states. However, Alfa is placed to return to the states for 2014, this time with more than 84 cars to offer to U.S. That year, 84 examples of its limited-production (just 500 total), Maserati V8-powered 8C sports car were made available. Production of the $70,000-plus road burner will initially be restricted to just 1,200 for the U.S. Things have improved greatly ever since then, and a fortified Alfa Romeo briefly reappeared in the states in 2008. As quickly as it had returned, it disappeared again. Incredibly light curb weight (about 2,000 pounds), combined with a feisty, 240-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a well-balanced chassis all but guarantee thrilling performance. This more tangible comeback can happen in grand fashion, since it will herald the arrival of the new 2014 Alfa Romeo 4C, a tiny, midengine sports car. By 1910 a brand new company debuted underneath the new name ALFA, which stood for Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili.These early Alfas quickly earned a reputation for leading-edge engineering and design, key attributes confirmed by many motor racing victories. Initially debuting as Societa Anonima Italiana Darracq, the organization struggled through its first few years. MultiAir engines increase power (up to 10%) and torque (up to 15%), as well as a considerable reduction in consumption levels (up to 10%) and CO2 emissions (up to 10%), of particulates (up to 40%) and NOx (up to 60%). Also, a power-limited 79 PS (58 kW; 78 hp) naturally aspirated engine variant is produced to generally meet the new Italian legislation for young people. All multi-air versions have a start-stop system as standard.  This new engine can be obtained with 105 PS (77 kW; 104 bhp),135 PS (99 kW; 133 bhp) and 170 PS (125 kW; 168 bhp) power ratings. At its launch, the MiTo will feature low-displacement turbocharged petrol and diesel engines. MiTo got a new electro-hydraulic valve control system for Multiair engines in September 2009. Highlights of the era are the P3, the 8C 2300 and the different 6C models throughout those years. Apart from a production interruption in the mid-'40s as a result of World War II, this pace continued through the 1950s and'60s, with highlights from these decades being the Giulietta, Giulia and Spider Duetto. The latter, a two-seat roadster that continued to the'90s with minimal changes, gained fame in the us via The Graduate movie that bowed in 1967 and starred a young Dustin Hoffman who drove the sleek sports car. Some 2 decades later, a less costly, de-contented version of the Spider called the Graduate was sold alongside the Spider. The cabin enclosure can also be pretty poor, with a couple of shallow cup holders, a small glove box, and shallow door bins to keep your odds and ends. The 2023 Alfa Romeo MiTo  is offered with three doors and the area inside is fairly limited. A corner seats are narrow and difficult to climb into, and there isn't much head and leg room. Between 2008 and 2012 around 200,000 Mitos were built. The winner from each country could win an Alfa Romeo Spider or an Alfa Romeo mountain bike. The car is assembled in the Fiat Chrysler Mirafiori plant. The MiTo is made on Fiat Small platform applied to Fiat Grande Punto, also employed by the Opel/Vauxhall Corsa D. The winning name was "Furiosa", which scored well in Italy, France, the United Kingdom, and Germany, however not in Spain. The brand new car was provisionally named the "Junior" ;.In November 2007, a European competition was launched where people had an opportunity to name the car.
