During our yearlong test of a Dodge Viper GT, we found that it can simply clear its city/highway estimates if you use a gentle foot, but when you can't resist the urge to interact the loud pedal, you'll easily get single-digit mileage. Visibility is restricted, with the combination of a really low roof line and a top beltline that makes you feel as though you're peeking through a mail slot to see from the car. In some recoverable format, the 14.7 cubic-foot trunk capacity is generous, but that's only if you pile your cargo to the roof. In the passenger compartment, storage can be light, with a few small pockets and bins. Looking back isn't easy either, and the tiny hatch forces heavy reliance on the rearview camera. Side visibility is compromised by wide roof pillars. The usable space is truly restricted to a slender well behind an enormous hump. Our best advice is always to pack light. The powerful two-seater Dodge Viper instantly sparked fascination with the Dodge brand among auto enthusiasts and the automotive press. Several more luxury options include the Porsche 911 and Jaguar F-Type, both which we highly recommend. Consider, too, the high-revving Ford Mustang GT350, that is objectively slower in a straight line but excellent on the racetrack and much cheaper. The 2023 Dodge Viper is a low rider manufactured by Dodge.
