The 2023 Dodge Journey is really a mid-size crossover SUV manufactured and marketed by Dodge

Their first vehicle was a touring car that proved a fast favorite with car buyers; it had been soon joined with a roadster and a four-door sedan. By 1917, the company's model line had grown to incorporate trucks. Two brothers, Horace and John Dodge, began the Dodge Brothers Motor Vehicle company in 1914, after having worked as manufacturers of bicycles and automotive parts. Before couple of decades, it's revitalized itself to become a producer of aggressively styled and performance-oriented vehicles. The Dodge is among America's most storied automotive brands, Dodge has been around since early days of the auto industry. Dodge cars and trucks were used as staff vehicles and ambulances in World War I. In SE Value equipment, the package gets you a six-way electrically adjustable driver's seat, Uconnect with Voice Command and Bluetooth, SiriusXM satellite radio, three-zone climate control, security alarm and leather-wrapped gear knob and steering wheel. More recent years have experienced Dodge focus on the more practical vehicles in its lineup, making notable improvements to the performance and overall quality of its midsize Avenger sedan and Journey SUV entries. Dodge also spun off its truck line, rendering it another Ram brand. Time will tell how successful Dodge's latest makeover is. But make no mistake; Dodge remains considered Chrysler's performance division thanks to cars such as the Challenger and Charger. Ideal for families and in a position to seat as much as seven, the space-efficient Caravan started an entire new vehicle segment -- the minivan. But 1984 was when Dodge made its mark in the annals books with the introduction of the wildly popular Caravan. The organization was saved from extinction in the early '80s as a result of government loans and the sales success of its Omni and Aries economy cars (the former an attempted copy of the VW Rabbit). Much like other American auto manufacturers, Dodge's fortunes started to slide in the '70s as a result of changing tastes and increased competition. While each model has an easy-to-use touchscreen, the machine has fewer features than a number of other Dodge products. Both have a 172-horsepower four-cylinder engine, a four-speed automatic transmission, and front-wheel drive. As well as the expected compartments in and around the console, there is also a sizable compartment under the front passenger seat cushion and two large underground compartments in the 2nd row. There's also only one USB port on leading; this isn't ideal for device-satisfied spawners likely to reside in the backseats. Dodge made the Journey in two trim levels: SE Value and Crossroad. The four-cylinder engine has got the worst EPA rating among competitors with similar drivetrains, at 19 mpg in city driving and 25 mpg on the highway. Likewise, the larger screen is responsive, but we wish Apple CarPlay and Android Auto were offered here. In comparison, the 2019 Honda CR-V 26 is rated at 32 mpg in the city and on the highway, whilst the 2019 Toyota C-HR is rated 27/31. The Crossroad's Popular Equipment Group adds a common garage door opener, remote start, heated front seats and steering wheel, navigation, and a six-speaker audio system with a subwoofer.  Dodge also streamlines the option-picking process with the introduction of the 2023 Dodge Journey Popular Equipment Group which bundles many features together, based on trim level. In the SE Value trim, the package gives you a six-way power-adjustable driver's seat, Uconnect with Voice Command and Bluetooth, SiriusXM satellite radio, three-zone climate control, security alarm, and a leather-wrapped shift knob and steering wheel. The federal government intervened and eventually Dodge came in check of Fiat, a European automaker noted for its small cars, a location where Dodge's entries have been roundly criticized for mediocre construction and unrefined performance. Many years later, Dodge had become section of DaimlerChrysler, a results of the merger of the German company Daimler (owner of Mercedes-Benz) and Chrysler. The merger hardly ever really worked, however, and Daimler sold Chrysler and Dodge to a personal equity firm in 2007. Immediately after, America's economy slid into recession. As a result of poor sales and debt, Chrysler had to declare bankruptcy. The first '90s saw the organization wow the public with the V10-powered Viper roadster and an all-new Ram pickup that set a new standard for big-rig-like styling. The Dodge Journey interior is definately not upscale, but its simple controls are user-friendly. Cheap-feeling bits such as a plasticky shifter and hollow-sounding interior door-trim panels are specially egregious on the priciest version. Several luxury features including a power-adjustable passenger seat, cooled seats, and heated rear seats are notable inside their absence from the options list. The seats could be folded down the 50/50-split third row and the 60/40-split second row to expand the available cargo space, even though Journey offers the smallest amount of amount of total cargo space of the vehicles in this class.  Getting anyone to suit in the third row—even children—requires those in the next row to compromise their legroom.
