Dodge has existed since the early days of the auto industry.

The us government intervened and eventually Dodge came in check of Fiat, a European automaker known for its small cars, a place where Dodge's entries had been roundly criticized for mediocre build quality and unrefined performance. While the conventional folding third row retracts in to a cavity aft of the seat, the available second-row folding seats disappear neatly into underfloor storage bins.  The Grand Caravan provides a commanding outward view, lots of cargo space, and ample small-item storage throughout the cabin. Dodge was briefly owned with a banking firm and subsequently sold by its new owner to the Chrysler Corporation in 1928. Post WWII, Dodge introduced vehicles just like the military-inspired Power Wagon truck, Hemi-powered Coronet and the Royal Lancer; in addition, the maker began offering dealer-installed air-conditioning. Vehicles like the Dodge Dart and the Coronet kept the manufacturer in American driveways through the 1960s. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are not available, and there's no USB port or Bluetooth in the base model, meaning smartphone integration options are limited. The 2023 Grand Caravan soldiers on with minor of updates: the midrange SE Plus model now comes standard with second-row captain's chairs, an eight-way power driver's seat, red and accent stitching to contrast the black upholstery. Dodge's muscle car was based on the Coronet platform, and featured a fastback roof line, hidden headlamps and a full-width taillamp panel. The business was saved from extinction in early '80s thanks to government loans and the sales success of its Omni and Aries economy cars (the former an attempted copy of the VW Rabbit). A Blacktop Appearance package is now optional on both SE Plus and SXT models. Adding insult to inefficiency, the Chrysler Pacifica, Honda Odyssey, and Toyota Sienna beat EPA estimates by at the least 2 mpg in the same test. Immediately after, America's economy slid into recession. All of the popular infotainment features are optional, and, remarkably for a 2020 model, neither Android Auto nor Apple CarPlay capability is available at any trim level. Many years later, Dodge came to be part of DaimlerChrysler, a consequence of the merger of the German company Daimler (owner of Mercedes-Benz) and Chrysler. The merger never truly worked, however, and Daimler sold Chrysler and Dodge to an exclusive equity firm in 2007. The conventional infotainment features a 6.5-inch touchscreen and a six-speaker stereo. The first '90s saw the business wow people with the V10-powered Viper roadster and an all-new Ram pickup that set a brand new standard for big-rig-like styling. The 2023 Dodge Grand Caravan's cabin offers a mix of soft-touch surfaces and hard plastics, however it feels cheaper compared to the interiors of most rivals. The touchscreen display is small compared to rivals, its graphics are dated, and it's slow to react to inputs. If you should be looking for a minivan with increased tech features, check out the 2020 Chrysler Pacifica. That decade also saw the launch of among Dodge's most iconic vehicles, the Charger. Well suited for families and in a position to seat around seven, the space-efficient Caravan started a whole new vehicle segment -- the minivan. It's no surprise that the Grand Caravan's EPA fuel economy estimates lag behind many of its more modern rivals. Best of all, the Charger could pack one heck of a wallop beneath the hood. As with other American auto manufacturers, Dodge's fortunes started to slip in the '70s due to changing tastes and increased competition. A 318-cubic-inch V8 was standard, but buyers seeking maximum brawn could upgrade to a 426-cubic-inch, 425-hp Hemi V8. The organization also introduced a Mustang-fighting pony car, called the Challenger, in 1970. The Dodge version of the Chrysler minivan, the Caravan was marketed as both a passenger van and a cargo van. The Dodge for offering 2023 Dodge Grand Caravan infotainment system with a 6.5-inch screen and auxiliary input as standard equipment, but in this instance, less could have been more. The Grand Caravan shares the brilliant Stow 'n Go system with the Chrysler Pacifica. The Dodge Grand Caravanis really a long-wheelbase group of minivans that has been manufactured by Chrysler. From there, the brand slowly evolved in to the division in charge of trucks and performance-oriented cars. Due to poor sales and debt, Chrysler had to declare bankruptcy. But 1984 was when Dodge made its mark in the annals books with the introduction of the wildly popular Caravan. The 2023 Grand Caravan performed particularly poorly inside our real-world highway fuel-economy test, recording just 22 mpg — less than 25 mpg EPA-rated at a regular 75 mph over 200 miles. The system is indeed antiquated that even a simple AM/FM radio will be simpler and more satisfying to use. The 2023 Dodge Grand Caravan is powered by way of a 283-hp V-6 paired with a six-speed automatic transmission engine. The Dodge Grand Caravan doesn't offer many infotainment features, and what it has are unimpressive.
