An expense that replaces the Annual Secured Residential or commercial property Tax Bill due to the following factors: a modification or correction to the evaluated value of the residential or commercial property; the allowance of an exemption that was formerly omitted; the correction of a Direct Assessment put on the residential or commercial property from a town or special district; or the addition of a charge for failure to comply with particular requirements of the Office of the Assessor prescribed by law (this excludes a penalty arising from a delinquent payment).
